Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries on the surface of the skin, stimulating your body’s natural healing processes to produce more collagen and elastin.

The procedure is safe, gentle, and quick. Most patients experience results with no downtime. Pair it with our platelet rich plasma service and you can achieve even better results for your skin.

Microneedling revitalizes your skin by:

  • Smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles
  • Firming sagging skin
  • Evening out skin tone
  • Reducing the appearance of sun damage
  • Diminishing oversized pores

Other than some minor tingling and initial redness, you shouldn’t have any notable discomfort. There’s typically no recovery time. Many of our patients step right back into life feeling refreshed and radiant.

Microneedling treatments typically take about an hour, making them easy to fit into your busy schedule.

There’s little to no downtime involved after microneedling. You may notice some swelling or redness that usually disappears within a day or two. Your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight for a few days, but using sunscreen and following your regular skincare routine is usually enough to protect it and prevent any irritation. Microneedling is an ideal option for patients on the go.

Most results from microneedling are noticeable after a couple of weeks, once your body’s healing process has had a chance to react to your treatment. Your complexion may continue to improve for weeks or even a couple of months after you see the initial results.

Results from microneedling tend to last for several months, and in some cases, you still may notice improvements for up to a year. Everyone’s skin is different, so some patients may need follow-up treatments sooner.

Scheduling your microneedling session is easy. Start with your initial consultation to discuss your skin goals and determine if microneedling is the right fit for you. Once we’ve identified the best approach for your needs, we’ll book your treatment and guide you through what to expect.
